Data plans for Afghanistan
Install before you fly. Your plan starts counting down when it first connects at your destination, not when you buy it.
Will this work on my phone?
Dial *#06# on your phone. If the screen shows an "EID" number alongside the IMEI, your phone supports eSIM. No EID means it does not.
Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. A phone still tied to a contract will not accept another network, even if it supports eSIM.
Supported phones
- iPhone
- iPhone XR, XS and every model since, including SE (2020 and later).
- Samsung
- Galaxy S20 and later, Z Flip and Z Fold, Note 20. Some regional variants have no eSIM — check with *#06#.
- Google Pixel
- Pixel 3 and later. Pixel 3 sold in Australia, Japan and Taiwan is excluded.
- Other Android
- Recent Motorola Razr, Oppo Find X series, Huawei P40 and P50, Honor Magic, Sony Xperia 10 III and later, Nothing Phone.
Most phones sold in mainland China have the eSIM hardware disabled. Older or budget Android models generally have no eSIM at all.
Plans
Plans marked per day give you that much full-speed data every day — choose how many days you need. After the daily allowance the connection slows but stays usable. All other plans are a single pot of data for the whole period.

Questions
Will this work on my phone?
Dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked. Check before you buy — an incompatible phone is the most common reason people ask for a refund.
When do I get it?
Within a few minutes of paying, by email. It also appears on your order page immediately, and that page stays available — so if the email goes astray, nothing is lost.
When does the plan start counting down?
When the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, not when you buy it or install it. You can safely buy and install days before you travel.
Do I keep my normal number?
Yes. The eSIM is a second line for data only. Your usual SIM stays in the phone and keeps your number for calls and texts, though you should turn its roaming off to avoid your home operator charging you.
Can I make calls and send texts?
No. These plans are data only. Calls and messages over WhatsApp, FaceTime, Signal and similar apps work normally, since those use data.
What if it does not work?
Message us on WhatsApp and we will work through it with you. Most problems are one of three things: data roaming switched off for the eSIM, the plan not yet started because you have not arrived, or manual network selection needing a nudge.
What is your refund policy?
If you have not installed the eSIM yet, we will refund you in full. Once it has been installed and connected we cannot refund it, because the data allowance has been issued and cannot be returned. This is why we ask you to check *#06# before buying.
Can I add more data later?
On most plans, yes — you top up the same eSIM rather than installing a new one. Your order page will show a top-up option where the plan supports it.
